Most if not all bed covers for third gen Tacomas use the bed rail system as long as you are not using the oem one.
My input: for less than 500 will get you a nice soft top trifold cover. Hard covers seen to run more than 500.

Trifold is kind of a waste, get a soft roll up and utilize your whole bed when you need it

I do not see where it ask if it has the stock rail system. I am assuming if I order one with the 2020 Tacoma specs, it will fit???

Make sure the cover comes with hardware and make sure you look up the correct bed length with year/make/model. When I ordered mine I looked it up by year/make/model and bed length and saw pictures of the hardware.

also if you are questioning if you are ordering the correct one, you can look at a YouTube review.

OP, this might be of some help. When I was looking at tonneau covers I thought this roll up from Gator would be interesting:
    https://gatorcovers.com/p/gator-srx-roll-up-tonneau-cover/

I was going to buy this but then I got distracted and eventually bought the OEM tri-fold from the dealer who gave me a great promo price with my new truck (they also installed it, but it is a pretty simple and easy install). I kind of wish I would have gotten this instead. The tri-fold takes up a lot of bed space -- you fold it in thirds and while the last third buckles down it takes up a third of the bed. You can reach under it but it does take up a fair amount of room.

This inexpensive Gator one rolls tight ... which gives you full access. And you can't beat the price.

    Hope that helps ...

Totally incorrect not only can my Lomax aluminum tri fold hold 400lbs on top of it if needed I can also fold it up and take it out in like 30 seconds then use my whole 6ft bed. Plus it looks fantastic.

I've heard of people getting their shit robbed out of their bed because someone just took a blade and cut through the soft cover.
If you're looking to keep your stuff safe, then a soft cover might not be the way to go. just something to consider.

I’ve been happy with my Truxedo Truxport. It is fairly basic but well made for a soft roll up tonneau. I think I paid around $300 for it.

The Tyger & Gator tri-folds run between $190-220 and are a decent bang for the buck. Son has a Tyger on his truck 2yrs +, no complaints, still looks & functions great.
