Not sure what your budget is. I've heard some of pretty good things about Acces roll up covers, Truxedo, & Extang.

Sold my Leer fiberglass one and just bought a Extang tri fold soft cover. Only takes 3 minutes to remove at 15 pounds maximum and comes with a 10 year warranty and keeps everything dry in the box. Half the price as the hard ones, Im happy with it so far.

I've never had a folding bed cover but I have had a soft tonneau cover and an Undercover bed cover before. I REALLY liked the Undercover bed cover, very easy to take off and put back on (30 seconds maybe) and it has locks on both sides of the bed. Only reason I haven't put one on my Taco is because I'm wanting a topper for it.

A suggestion would be to let us know what your budget is? If you're wanting a tri-fold tonneau, hard shell(one piece) tonneau, soft cover tonneau? The more information that you give us the better we can help you out. Making things very vague, makes us give you vague answers.

Tonneau-pro tri-fold. Well made and keeps my bed dry. Simple to install. You can access the bed by folding the sections back and clipping them open. I believe I paid less than $300.

If you want a roll up cover get an Access cover, for a trifold I would check out the extang trifecta

I just bought an Extang Trifecta Signature Series and really like it a lot. Very easy to put on and take off truck bed, keeps the bed dry, and looks sharp. It's probably a little more than your budget, but it's a very good product.

Tonno-pro trifold is $269 with shipping on Amazon. Summit will price match as well. Works pretty good. Keep in mind that a little water will still get in the bed. I've never had a cover of any type be 100% dry and this one is about the same as I've used in the past (pace Edwards roll up and a soft roll up) on my last couple of trucks.

If you were closer I'd say come get my Leer fiberglass one for a lot less than what you're looking to spend. I know you said you didn't want fiberglass but I really need this thing out of the yard. :)

I have had an Extang Trifold on both my 2006 & 2013 tacomas.
The cover has worked excellent for many seasons, temperature fluctuations, extreme weather,
heavy snow, ice etc. and taking it on and off is a breeze.
My most recent one I bought off a vendor here.

I like my Access Rollup cover. It would take longer to take off than the tri-folds but, at least with my last truck, I never need to take it off since it rolls up out of the way. TruckAlterations has it for a little over your budget, $340, but I think it's definitely worth it if you're looking to go the rollup route.
