Go with a Bakflip! Installed a Retrax Pro XR when I purchased the truck. As sleek as it looked, it leaked. Ended up regretting it, should've got the Bakflip, easier to store if removed, & re-install. Ended up finding a camper was more useful for my needs.

This looks great, have you experimented with removing it at all or has it stayed put since you installed it?

Haven't had to remove it yet. Don't really plan on removing it but I'm going to have to take it off to get the 3rd brakelight warranty work done so when I get around to that I'll know. I had a couple of buddies come and help me put it on and it was pretty easy.

No regrets. Installed in about 2 hours. Fits well and seems to be good quality.
I have not tested it in water yet, but I expect it will leak a little.
Also, on the 'new' G2s, you can close the tailgate when the cover is closed (like the MX4).

Another vote for Lomax. You don't have to move the rails or drill drain holes. It installs quickly and can be removed in under a minute.

I have been really pleased with the Tyger roll up cover off Amazon. For the price, if it tears up after 3-5 years I won't be that worried about it. I chose roll up over the tri-fold because of ease of adjustment and full bed utility when it is rolled up at the front of the bed. It is easy to clean and I hit it with some vinyl/rubber dressing after washes. It has held up nicely and has plenty of adjustment left in the adjustment brackets.

Have had the hard Toyota tonneau cover for 3 years now and it is leaking water like crazy since the last few months. Have tried many things to improve the seal, but no luck so far. Was awesome the first couple years but not sure I can recommend it now if rain is common in your area.

I put on a roll up Truxedo Truxsport. No complaints and completely satisfied, not as secure as a hard cover but not as much money and I really do not keep any valuables in the bed

    Stock for now....
Got an extang sold fold 2.0. Love that it secures my bed and all the junk inside, but hate the clamp style fastners. The cover almost came off my bed hitting washboard roads 30+mph. Shifts too much for my liking when off-roading, and I hate the pull down levers used to latch and unlatch. Would have loved it to be one pull string handle on either side of the bed. The fact you have to pull latches on passenger and and driver makes it a little tougher to open if you have a fridge or other misc. obstruction on the sides of the bed.

I just installed the Re-trax Pro Aliminum cover. It’s basically a very nice roll up garage door. The only down side is the barrel that holds the rolled up “door” takes up some bed space. But it’s very well made, and I’m very happy with how it looks. It operates very smooth on the rails.

Good to hear, I just ordered one for the trip home at Christmas time to keep everything in the bed out of the weather.

I'm not sure what they cost now - you can message the folks at @GotExhaust for their current pricing. Their price here was better than anything I could find locally at the time.

I contacted the manufacturer directly since they're only about 90 miles away from me and thought I could get it cheaper from them. Their price was the same as anywhere online, which was disappointing but not entirely unexpected.

If you're looking to order one, message @GotExhaust.

Totally agree! The delivered price from @GotExhaust was substantially less than from local distributors.
