Does anybody knows if the 2011 OEM bed extender fit on the 2015? Toyota sell this model from 2005 until 2011, but the 2012 - 15 is ugly as fuck.

It'll fit. They're designed to be somewhat "universal" - you set the width during assembly, but it can be adjusted later if needed (as evidenced by the fact that I ran my 1st Gen extender, also compatible with Tundras, on my 2013 before installing bed stiffeners).

They're included with the extender and screw into the sides, just inside the tailgate (about where bed stiffeners are mounted). As long as they're compatible with the extender, there's no issue.

If you haven't reviewed install instructions, recommend you do so. Like I said, these things are easy to assemble/install and almost universal - my son and I share a single extender between his 2001 and my 2013.

I want one of these.. i feel like i would mostly want it to keep things from rolling up to the front of the bed more than to use as an extender. I think i will keep my eyes out on craigslist.

I got one for $20 on CL bought the quick release brackets on Amazon and it works great for just keeping a helmet clipped to it after a ride or a 5 gal bucket with a bunjee. Brackets didn’t come with the template but found one online somewhere for free. Just tape and drill the screws in and you’re good to go. And amazon has the quick release ones as well as just the basic bracket that it slides right in and out. Also it’s more tiedown spots in the bed
