Any bed extenders exist on market that do not require drilling into the bedside? TIA!

You can get one that goes in the hitch for long items.

I can't imagine how one would work without drilling to mount hardware. They ain't hard to install, drill away.

I have the extender from the factory. Works well extended or flipped in to keep small items within reach. Good luck finding something that wont require at least 2 holes drilled.

Install of the OEM bed extender is no big deal, but yeah you have to drill a few small holes for the bracket. The kit comes with a paper template that shows you exactly where to drill the hole. Pretty hard to screw this up I would think, but if you are nervous about the drilling part (which I can understand) then pay your dealer to do the install. . The hardest part of the install is removing the rear light housings!

PS: the bed extender is a pretty versatile add-on. When not "deployed", it makes a nice little secured area to put groceries and small stuff in the bed when shopping. When you need more bed space, you just drop the tailgate and flip the extender. And if you need it gone altogether, it lifts out in about 2 seconds!

What's wrong with it? I have seen most trucks have hitch mounted bed extender.. it works fine.

No need to drill. Plus it would be quicker if you pull it out and stow away.. very simple.

Search for “readyramp bed extender”, they do not require drilling, but are also very tailored for motorcycle loading. 1/2 the benefit of a bed extender is it shortens the bed for small loads as well as lengthen it for large, the readyramp does not do the former. So probably not what you want, but does meet the no drilling you wanted. As others said if you want one, use the drilled option unless you only want it for motorcycles.

They are a pain in the ass to store, only work for specific loads, and not practical to keep in the truck. Nothing wrong with them, they have their use, but they don’t have the utility of a traditional bed extender if that’s what you need. It all depends on how you use your bed. I have many different options from those to ready ramp to bed extender, they all have their good and bad points, just depends on what you need.

If RBE, then it may require drilling depends on the product..

Yes no drill bed extenders exist, just NOT for Tacoma's.

You would think with the amount of Tacoma's out there you would think Amp Research would design a no drill extender for the Tacoma.

I had a 2009 Honda Ridgeline and it had pre-marked dimples where the screws for the extender latch would be installed.
I bought a westin brand extender from pepboys clearance special like $69 bucks and used self tapping screws.
    No drilling required.
