    Agree with straps and basic rope. Wouldn't keep anything there you want either dry/clean, because as posted above, they aren't sealed. There's always the aftermarket options though if you want to spend $$$

    I saw someone sealed up that cubby with silicone I think. That way it's water tight and important things can be stored.

    I replaced the driver's side one with the Expedition Essentials cubby mount for a Viair compressor, and keep ratchet straps in the passenger side one.

    I have an outlet in my bed but honestly I've never used it...

    I used to keep ratchet straps in mine, but they rusted up solid after a month. Now I dont keep anything in there.
