Just an idea I've seen a couple examples, mostly people seem to do their flares, only kinda considering it cause my drivers side fender is now badly scratched up after this past weekend. On a scale from bad ass to full retard where bouts is this?

I've been thinking, and if I were to do it I would do the flares as well and the rockers up to the bottom of the body line on the doors extending into the rear, like pictured above which looks bad ass by the way . This is where most of my paint chips are bad scratches are

Thanks. It covers my scratches and the lines that are visible when i removed my flapps. Its called raptor liner. Its a diy kit and comes with a spray gun. All u need is tape and a air compressor

Nice how long have you been rocking it that way? I've got pin stripes all over the truck fully expected it to happen but the really deep ones are all at the bottom. Once my new headlights come in I'll find out if I can fix the fender its got two big scratches where it contacted the bank, if it looks like poo I will order a new fender, I'm just looking at some interesting options besides just painting it back to stock

Been on a year. The only spots it chipped is right where the fender meets the body cuz i couldnt sand it good but it touched up nice with satin black. Hind sight, should have removed fenders first

Nice !!! I won't really have that problem cause I have to take my front end apart regardless I'm still on the fence I dont want my truck and to look like a beat down pos, but on the other hand being black already the liner would blend kinda Lol I'm definitely gonna do the rockers and stuff, I wish I could find more pics of trucks with it done I've found a few but not enough to sell me on the whole fender idea

I did my bed also, 3 coats bottom of bed 2 coats sides and top rail and 2 coats rockers and flares, in what should have been 3 bottles but i had a "didnt clean the gun out good" accident that resulted in the loss of a 1/4 bottle. I just had to crack into my fourth bottle. 4 bottles in the kit i bought but i think they have a 2 bottle kit which would be plenty for flares and rockers. I did my bed 2 weeks prior to flares is why my gun was screwed up, but nothing a wire and mineral spirits couldnt fix

Its no linex. Like 8 coats might be comparable to linex. I had a crack in my bed that i fixed with fiberglass, so it was 90% cosmetic. It did add substantial grip. The only spots it came off is where i had a ladderstand strapped down and drove 80 miles. I looks great tho, even linex will peel away when sharp edges of metal rub on it tho.

I went to my local line x guy and floated my idea he basically told me to go pound sand, but I was just curious how it was I've tossed the idea around of doing the bed but I've been all consumed with getting my sliders fabbed and finding the tires I want so until Monday this all was just that a concept. I'll know more once those headlights get here my buddy owns a shop and got me them at cost just takes a while for shipping :(

satoshi mod, sliders, tinted tails/3rd brake, 3" lift,
what headlights did you go with? factory or aftermarket?

FWIW i bedlined my lower doors, flares and lower bedsides with raptor liner. ive put it through some decent abuse with no peeling/flaking/fading or anything. id recommend it. been on the truck for a few years now.

try Marrand Oem parts in coquitlam if your ever looking for oem stuff for a decent price. way cheaper than buying from the dealer.
