100% agree with this, another vote for Raptor liner.
It's all in the prep. Sand/scuff the surface you'll be spraying for better adhesion, etch primer on areas with exposed metal (I used U-Pol Acid #8), take your time and mask. This stuff is messy so definitely plan things out ahead of time

My Raptor has held up excellent, any 2-part activated liner will be substantially better than air cure rattle can/roll on stuff.

Just did this exact same thing, looks perfect and closely matches the Rhino liner. Preparation is the key.

I know ‘great paint’ job is 90% prepping 10% painting .

    for this bed liner stuff…..
    In y’all’s opinion,
What would be best way to ‘prep’ surface?

Let’s keep it simple…..rails and top of tailgate only
    (Not full on bed)
    Thanks

Duplicolor has a newer spray that is solvent based about $20 a spray can for smaller jobs:
    Amazon.com: Dupli-Color ETR350007 Premium Truck Bed Coating, Black, 15 oz. : Automotive
I just cleaned up a rear bumper and painted several coats Rustoleum black and will be spraying it with the Duplicolor above so will see how it holds up.

    Read instructions first of course.
If used on rusty metal sand and prime using Rust Reformer by Rustoleum.

Raptor liner 2k spray about $40 in a spray can or many options to roll or get their kit with a spray gun for larger jobs. They have their own special primers so look it up.
