Hello everyone. Off the wall question here. I purchased an Extang Solid Fold Tonneau Cover off of craigslist from a guy for a price I couldn't refuse. The only catch is that it has a couple of minor dents. The cover belonged to a plumber for a work truck, so it needed a bit of polishing and cleaning, but for a hundred bucks, I thought it was a good deal. Now, I'm considering putting bed liner over the three panels to hide the dents and bring new life to the cover. Anyone have any experience with this sort of thing? Or has anyone figured a practical way to work out a few minor dents in the aluminum top cover of one of these things. I tried the hot glue trick, but it didn't work.

Maybe I over think it. The dents can't even be seen when the cover is on the truck. I still can't find the one that was bothering me when I first saw it on a driveway. All about angles... Still, it's something to consider if anyone ever goes that route. Would like to see if anyone has coated a cover in bed liner.
