My LineX holds water very very well. I have to lower the tailgate and gas it. We had about three inches of rain last week and all of it was still in the bed. I had a pool.

I never understood why they didn't design it with drain holes but maybe they thought it would get trapped and rust out the bed

part of the reason im asking for opinions in this poll, to see what others thought they should or shouldn't do about it filling up with 4 inches of water when it rains

This. You can always grommet the holes and epoxy them to keep water from weeping under the liner/under side and causing rust.

Just park on a hill. Took my buddy's liner out, 2001 Tacoma, it was not rusty, but the paint was worn off it a few spots.
My truck has a spray in liner and a plastic liner.

I don't see what the problem is. Standing water in a lined bed . . . mosquitos? It's gone as soon as you start forward.

I seen the problem when they first became available,,and have never bought one.

Bed mat only here. Toss something on it and it stays put. Sure the paint is a bit beat up, but it's a truck bed with built in corner drains.
