I'm considering getting a bed mat for my '19 Limited, but I have a couple of questions. Does anything hold the mat in the bed?? If not, what would keep it from blowing out? Also, are the other manufacturers that make good mats and possibly lower priced?
    Thanks.

The mat is pretty heavy, don't quote me but its like 30 pounds and awkward to deal with. Its form fitted to the truck bed and do to aerodynamics the air never has a reason to get under and lift a bedmat.

It's worth the price, the weight of it keeps it in the bed. Trust me it will Not fly out plus shit doesn't slide all over the bed. Best cheap mod for your taco.

Nothing holds it down as it's very heavy
There is a thread floating around here for a sale on OEM bedmats for about 79 bucks.

The factory mat is fitted around the wheel wells. It is held down by gravity and solid fitment. it is a very thick, (between 3/8 and 1/2") piece of reinforced rubber. more chance of theft than flying out.

Get factory and if your worried about it flying out you can bolt it in through one (not all) of the drain holes in the front of the bed.
If you want cheap and just as good, get a horse stall mat and cut it to fit.
Other I tried was weathertech. Total POS I sent it back. Have to Velcro it down, blocked the cubbies, things slid all over the place.

The OEM mat is very nice. Like everyone has said, it's very heavy and won't go any where.

I bought a used F150 Mat, and cut it down to size.

Looks like you got the answer you needed, but I will add another vote for OEM mat and it is heavy enough to stay. I do have a bed cover so I don't worry about the mat, but it made a big difference in holding stuff in place.

Exactly ^^^ ... I did weigh my mat when I unpacked it for basic info, mine weighed 30.6 lbs. Not a bad estimate Joe, and it’s definitely not going any where once installed.

I've had bed mats in all if my pickups. This however is the first one I've bolted down. Not because it'll fly out but because I spend too much time here on this site and it's made me paranoid about theft.

I have the horse stall mat... 100lbs. Nice for added weight over the wheels during winter. And cheap

Best thing I have bought for my new 19 DCLB OR. Works like it should and is heavy enough to where it won't fly out.

Had them throw in an OEM mat when I bought the truck. With no mat the bed is slicker than an ice rink. Also put a tuner mat on my tailgate

I have a OEM shortbed mat. The car wash I go to must have the fastest wind speed on the planet. It’s thrown my bed mat into the car wash bay every time. It’s a touchless car wash and the doors close when you pull out the end. I always had to get the clerk. It got so I would just let it blow the water off the back of the roof and I’d sit there till the blower shut off. I got a tonneau now and I don’t worry about it.

FYI I’ve had my truck over 100mph on the highway before I got my tonneau and it stayed in place.. the car wash must have incredible speeds

Bought it for my 2nd gen Tacoma 2/24/15 for $114(tax included) @ Racine Toyota

Oem is worth it. $100 or less and that’s a fair price. Fits like a glove and helps with the slick bed.
