    Yep, I ran 8 gauge up to my auxiliary battery in the engine bay. If I had to do it over again I'd probably go with 6 or 4 gauge just to be safe.

    Also, that 8 gauge wire goes to a relay and then to the aux battery. There's a switch in the cab for turning it on and off.

    Woah, dude! I didn’t think you could hardwire these.
    Did you cut off the power cable and solder on 8 gauge?

    Yep! I just cut off the alligator clamps and crimped the 8 gauge straight to the compressor wire. Definitely still want to throw a fuse in between there somewhere though. It's been workin great so far
