Has anyone used the outlet in the bed to run LED pod lights?

Thinking about doing this as a removable option so that I can put them on and off the truck.

Would I need to run some type of power supply so I don’t burn the LEDs?

But the outlet is pushing 120v, would that not burn the lights ?

Sorry, run 12v to the light, but use a plug wherever u plan on running the light to. So if u need to remove it, just unplug it.
