Bed outlet question?

Suggest you install an AGM battery on the shelf in back of your rear passenger seat, then a 60amp fuse, then a 750 or 1000 watt inverter.
Then, you can run stuff without killing your truck battery.

Heating elements draw big power. It's why a kitchen and bath require 20 amp circuits - hair dryers, toasters, coffee makers, etc.

I like the christmas lights idea! I think a stand of 100 mini lights would pull about 40w. Get some LED lights and you probably can wrap the entire truck in under 100w!

 

toyota was able to wire a power converter w/plug to our beds.........why the heck couldnt they solder a resistor properly in our overhead consoles? I:E; compass/temp gauge

 

Yup, LEDs FTW. They don't get hot either unlike their incandescent cousins.
