Bed outlet question

Im sure this may have been asked however I don't have time to search due to the Storm; however I wanted to know what is the most you can plug into the bed outlet on the tacomas? I know this sounds so stupid but would I be able to just run an extension cord from truck to the fridge....? all I care about is the fridge

I wouldn't think so. I was wondering how many people were going to ask this because of the storm. This is why I love my ARB fridge, cold beer no matter what.

"Typical" refridgerator uses 300-400 watts. The bed outlet will put out 400 watts max at idle. So you may be close. I would give it a shot if it was my last resort. The thicker and shorter your extension cord the better. Long and thin cords provide more resistance.
