Hey all, new to the forum. About 2 months in to my new Taco. I love it, but it has not seen any dirt as of yet. Looking forward to taking out in the next couple weeks.

Plan is to use it for some overlanding, and strongly considering getting a hardtop and putting in a bed platform with drawers. Anybody have any recommendations in the Phoenix area that I might be able to build one for me? I'd consider doing myself, but my woodworking skills are minimal, and I'm lacking the saws I'm sure I'd need for this project. Not opposed to it, but want to explore all options.

Also, regarding the hardtop, any recommendations on where to get? I know there are a couple RV dealers in town: Little Dealer, Little Prices, and Tom's. Any other place I should look?

Did you see the new Decked system for the Tacomas? https://decked.com/pages/midsize
It's probably the best fitting, lightest solution you can find, for about a grand...
    Just a thought...

Tom's on Grand Ave had a lot of inventory last time I was over there. Pretty nice folks. I didn't buy my shell there, but they wired up my brake light for about $40.
