bed price?

Having trouble finding any previous FS posts to get an idea
but will keep looking

does anyone know how much a bed goes for?

I am looking at selling my bed. And welding an aluminum ute.
Just trying to figure out what they go for/what to sell the bed for. It has no issues that I'm aware of.

I figure if that is done,
-clean the frame
-box the frame, maybe JDFab supports with higher shock mounts
-PM replace fuel pump
-mount some cheap tail lights to drive around bedless
-get started on welding aluminum ute

 

I have absolutely no idea.
I can only tell you what I'd ask.

$650 for the bed
$800 w/tailgate

Might be too high, might be too low.
But that's what I'd take to get it off my property and out of my way.

 

Not sure what the whole bed would go for but @TnShooter price options seem reasonable. This is considering I don't know what a used bed would go for. Maybe you can call a couple of junk yards or u-picks in your area and see what they're selling them for to get an idea.

 

Well since this bed is listed at at Dicks Auto parts for 1795 I’d say that much. Honestly it’s tough to tell. If the person looking needs the exact color being sold, and it’s a complete bed including tailgate. I’d say at least 2k because you could piece one together and paint it for that.
