I went with a 6" rise bed bars. Has the tent around cabish height when folded up but alley me to load up the bed of the truck still. Imo it's the best option a full on rack has some downsides. Also I mounted mine as far back as possible so I have access to my tool box and the cab facing window can be opened with ease sorta.

Sometimes my tent doubles as a kayak rack lol
