Do you have a rough measurement on that base? Trying to ensure that it will fit my rack and I have tried to email and call SSO, but can't get any response. Probably closed right now.

Too much to name for this little space
What does your truck bed rack look like without the spare on it? I just want to see the setup because I just picked up a similar bed rack and need to mount mine on top somehow

Nice, was curious if you had heim joints, bushings, or just straight up hinges lol

Put your spare under the truck, strapped to the bed or just leave it at home. Raising your CG to add a faux-rollcage so you can mount a 285 tire on the back of your truck doesn't make any sense.

It’s just a bed rack homie, never quoted it as a roll cage. My wife designed it and I built it. Both our trucks are trail toys only and have never experienced CG issues in the terrain we play on, and we have a dirt track at our house and drift our trucks.

I wasn't trying to throw shade I just meant that it looks like a roll cage but it's not actually attached to anything. Kudos for building that at home, it looks great.

It's been awhile but I remember being able to fit a 285 in the stock spare location? That just seems like the most obvious solution since it keeps cargo space clear and the CG low & rear.
