the whole modular storage system is what I love about it, but holy shit $260 each.
Fully equipped with a few pods and the whole rack etc, must be over $2500.

oh i know, someone mentioned the profit margins must be pretty damn good on their stuff. It's a well thought out design but yah 1200+ for just the rack and then you have to add stuff onto it.

They're currently sold out of everything so it either means they're selling really well or they only made enough

could see them being the same as most of the metal fab companies.
Basically more so made to order.

Either way, way too expensive for me, so I'll be going with the KBvoodoo

That's the exact rack I need for bed mounted kayaks. What did that cost? Is this their website?

If you're in the bay check out just Google Heavy Metal Off-road. I won't talk numbers cause another user started a group buy but they are sturdy as fuck, well built, and less expensive than others I looked at. They aren't flashy, they aren't light aerodynamic aluminum or Cnc cut. They are plain ol bed bars and I love em. Highly recommend. (Nothing against users or vendors who make that top notch aluminum stuff either, it looks good)

@TejasTaco you got it buddy. He can make the bed bars at any height you want. Just below third brake light, just above the cab. He'll coat them or give em to ya naked for you to paint. He can add custom tabs for mounting whatever the fuck you want. Get home and decide more tabs for another thing? No problem. Take back to him and add more tabs!
The way I'm talking it sounds like I get a kick back. I get no kick back. I just like the dude.

    Not enough
I have a custom built rack done by a local fabricator. Mine is right at cab height so I can fit my storage bins 2 high and it puts the Foxwing awning at the right height for me.

High quality work done exactly how I wanted. For less than some of the name brands. I'm extremely pleased.

Can you see out the back window with the tent on at all? I was thinking of this rack but I might have to go higher so I can see out of the back window while driving.
