@n00bco Finally, I found one that works for the cover I already had. This Front Runner bed rack worked well on the DiamondBack HD cover during a recent trip to Utah's Dixie Nat'l Forest/Zion/Bryce Cyn from L.A., CA. It does require some drilling onto the DiamondBack HD cover.

Being able to open the front cover panel on the DiamondBack cover helped out so much, though. The lighting behind the cab shone directly into the bed, also, when the front cover panel was open. That helped at night while camping in Utah.IMG_3375.jpg

I'm assuming with this setup, you can't open trifold Tonneaus for usage?

I'm guessing a soft roll-up tonneau would work better for this kind of setup?

I was thinking the same thing. The front corners of the bed are exposed near the cab. I was thinking of something mounted there and then another brace on the stationary diamondback center section. Haven't figured out the rear yet. Might need a plate extending rearward a few inches for a third vertical support. Then you could open the front and back.

How did you get this to work? Do you have any photos of the rails and how you set it up with the rack? I am looking to get a cover but want it to be compatible with the Voodoo rack and tonneau attachment.

Custom built. I designed the look and lay out and have an excellent fabricator in South Orange County, Ca. Cost is similar/less expensive to that of comparable retail products and comes with a lot more features. I will upload more photos later today.

You rack is bolted directly to the cover? There is no way to open the cover?

Yes, rack is bolted directly to tonneau. The tonneau can still be opened, just not full extension. I traded my leer 100xr for the Undercover tonneau and cash and wanted to utilize the t-track embedded in the cover.

Just got the KB Voodoo Hi-Rise rack system finished yesterday on my 2018 OR with LEER's new HF350M tri-fold tonneau. I'll be using it exclusively for a RTT, and plan to remove the tent with the KBV crossbars still attached when not in use, leaving just the uprights as permanent fixtures on the truck. The LEER mounts to its own rails that are in turn mounted to the factory rails. I had to cut the LEER rails in two places on each side to accommodate the uprights. I then used some extra LEER clamps (provided to me for free by LEER - thanks!!) to secure the segmented rails. Everything came together nicely, and works great!

Doubtful that it would work. The KB Voodoo uprights bolt directly to the factory bed tracks. You could email them and ask. They're very responsive.

Does anyone have a photo for the voodoo rack carrying kayaks? Interested to see the setup and what size racks I would need to clear my roof as well.
