Would the soft top rack (the one on the blue 3rd Gen in the fist set of pics) work with a factory hard tonneau cover?
Im looking for a rack that I can use with the factory tonneau, oh and its a long box.

    Yes and no.

    Those brackets, no.
But I've got brackets in the works right now to work with the factory tonneau.

Should have them ready to go in the next couple of weeks.

    Sweet.
By the look of it the rack can be removed and the brackets can stay?

Hey I know you do racks, but would you be able to do a tray or point me in the right direction?

    Something like this:

you missed a bunch of conversation in the Ontario BS thread about it.

somewhere around page 1742 and work your way backwards, or use the search function.

Buddy here named Ralf is starting up a business from Oilberta making Ute trays, design from the ground up. Just waiting for him to post some designs in a few weeks when he's done

Exactly - 4 bolts and the rack can be completely removed and only the brackets remain.
Makes things extremely easy if you need functionality that isn't available when the rack is mounted (pull bolts from one side, remove nut from other side but leave bolts in, flip the rack right over, the truck and then remove last two bolts - makes it possible to remove solo)

I definitely could - based on cost, you would likely be just as well going with the company Shveet posted.

That being said - be aware that in Ontario, as soon as you remove the factory bed, you legally need to register for CVOR (yearly inspections, daily logs, etc.)
A giant pain in the :censored: and a bit of a ridiculous law..
Whether you do so or not, is your call - but they are hefty fines if/when that one guy in a bad mood pulls you over for it.

    Wow,
I did not know about that CVOR BS, I just want to move lumber and wood around my property.
I only partially want it to look cool

Yup - I had planned on building a tube style bed for my old Ranger.
CVOR is what prevented me from going ahead with it..

The argument could be made that they won't pull over a mid-size truck for that, but I personally wasn't going to risk it.

It's just a simple mounting tab with the hole.
You still need a stud mount in order to mount an antenna.

Ahhh..I have a mag mount so I was just looking flat steel plate...so I don't have to keep sticking it on the roof of my truck.

If you're looking for a full rack, only real option is local pickup..
Might be easiest to email or PM on Facebook or instagram.

Sorry Richie, I missed this earlier.
Typically aim for 3-4 weeks. Just comes down to how busy it is with orders.
