    Same as everybody else...
Check your local Tractor Supply, last week they had new 30 and 50 cal cans without any stencils for under 12 bucks.

CostCo has pallets of combo (30/50) for $14.99 as I recall. I've got mil surplus cans already that I got for cheap but if someone is in the market that's a killer deal for new.

i have resisted buying the Costco ones twice and was surprised to see they are lasting as long as the are, thought they would sell out! Here is a video review of them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hR7HiqcJDeA

Had some empty cans lying around so decided to give it a go for myself. Had to mount a small C channel bracket between the bed wall and the can to stop it from bouncing around but it came out looking clean. IMG_0953.jpg IMG_0952.jpg

Looks great! Did you mount the channel to the bed wall or the can?
I have 2 40mm boxes come today. They are taller and will sit on the wheel well. I'm hoping that helps to stop them from bouncing around. I've been thinking about adding rubber feet to them to help even more. Have to see how it goes.

I mounted it to the ammo can so it rests against the bed wall. However, I will be swapping them out and using something along the lines of a rubber mount or isolator like in this link...https://www.zoro.com/value-brand-vi...16pOaoblptOofaNmzH0NDyYt4ML8fPZIwoaAjl08P8HAQ

You could also use these as feet on the can.

That's a great idea. Thank you. That's better than the stick on ones I was thinking.

Im going to keep tool kits, recovery ropes, and back up part for work. I just got home to find my boxes have arrived. A lot larger than I though they would be. But I'll make them work.

Not quite as tall as I was hoping. But with @1mike1888's idea. I can make them work. I'll use something similar as a stop beteen the mourning rail and the box to make more room for the kids to come on and off. I will also have a find a new home for my extinguisher. But I'll get it all worked out soon enough.
