I have this wild idea about mounting a propane take in the back of my truck bed. Maybe a 10 or 11lb tank. Have anyone ever used brackets like these to mount a propane tank with a propane tank mount or the jumbo quick fists?

People use my mounts and the jumbo quick fists for waterports, however i am working on something that will hold a propane tank. I have been very busy recently so my design time has been limited but it is in progress.

I too am interested in a Co2 tank mount! I’ve got the instant air 25lbs tank that came with the quickfists. I’d like to keep the front of the bed clear for other cargo stuffs and would like to mount it horizontally above the wheel well. I know you should NEVER use the tank in that position but for my purposes I’ll be removing it from the bed to use it anyway. I’m wondering if I could just use two of your current universal mounts and attach one large quickfist to each?

If the large quick fists will go around a 25lb tank then i think that you would be fine with 2 of the universal mounts to mount it horizontally above the wheel well.

I am still in the design process of the Co2 tank specific mounts, i need to get a new laptop as mine shuts off when its gets too hot... I have been trying to hold off but i think its time i bite the bullet and just a new one.

Oh yea, Flex seal and I have became good friends! its like a rhino spray to a lessor degree. Hits, scrapes, bumps does not chip the paint... pretty durable stuff...

I am going to have to pick some up. Looks like it paints pretty evenly also.

Might be in soon for a set! Have you done any TRED/MaxTrax specific mounts or is it best to just get the blank canvas and DIY something up?

I have not made anything specific for the TREDs, but i would imagine that my universal mounts would work just fine for them.

Where are you trying to mount them?
