bed rails reliable?

    Well, I didn't get the 1/2" 10,000 lb but mine are 5,000lb and will be WAY sturdy enough for anything ill be lashing to them. Lashing a mx bike down couldn't consist of more that a ouple of hundred lbs at MAX so I would assume these would suffice. I just liked the more compact ones and they will fit better in the front.

    got my rings installed yesterday! i will try and post some pictures later today. BTW i see why you used sandwich plates, i did not realize the entire bed is plastic/fiberglass so i made sandwich plates as well. Only thing i dont like is when i moved the stock rings from the rear mounts to the front, they do not swivel anymore. Not a huge problem but woulda been nice if they still did, anyone set theirs up so they still swivel, or is it impossible b/c its not the same style bolts?
