Recent Ocracoke OBX trip brought alot of attention to my seats. If anyone is interested for very specific situations (sporting events, tailgating, etc..) on a Leitner rack. It started a few years ago doing 10 mile day hikes, mountain bike days, or white water trips. After activities me and GF would sit for a celebratory brew of sorts and now I sit pretty often.

Not interested in selling just with so many people asking when I use them I thought maybe more people had a setup like mine. I guess a show and tell. Thats Edward Teaches flag, or what we have come to call his Jolly Roger. Piracy wasnt documented well enough to confirm or deny but I am a pirate in real life and enjoy playing off his brutal legacy. FYI he was decapitated on Ocracoke island and its where I go yearly so it seems fitting.

Would be sweet for fishing off shore beach fishing. Mount a couple rods to the end of the bed.

That's a great set up. Nice work. Did you use seats that were already on the market, or did you build the whole thing from scratch?

Its just a leitner rack with the rear crossbar pushed forward and some stadium seats on top. If theyre there for a long time I run a pull strap thru the base to the rack pulling them rearward from seating position. The stadium seats have a metal bar that rotates out on the bottom to hold them on stadium bleachers, which is almost same size as the Leitner crossbars.

Edward Teach is Blackbeards real name. Ocracoke was one of his hangouts/ hideouts and where he was beheaded, Springers Point or what some call it Teaches hole.

All true, back on topic. Nobody sits in the back of their truck or has added seats to one?

Did you sit on the seats while riding the ferry? That would be a nice ride.
