    Can someone tell me in the 2009 model year if the AC bed exterior dimensions are the same as the the DC long bed? Or will the same topper work for both trucks?

    Yes, same topper will fit ACLB and DCLB. 2005-15.

    the cap for a regular cab will have identical bed dimensions as well. However the shape of the area against the cab will be different and not hug the DCLB/ACLB cab properly.
