I like my 2016 Toyota bed step...

It's convenient and makes it a lot easier to get in and out of the bed of the truck.

That's why I bought my truck, to haul stuff in the bed, not necessarily to play off-road...Which is cool too btw.

I'm a little older now and don't care what others think about the symmetry but I can see Bros not liking the looks. I wouldn't a few years ago.

Great, the step is on the corner of the truck so its not in the way much at all. In other words, its still usable with the tailgate down.

I know that the Toyota unit is at the corner.

Please note the post and picture I quoted; that was the context of my question.

Pop-n-lock tailgate. New radio knobs. Rear step.
The bed step was sitting in my garage well before the truck was. Anyway, I use it and the kids love it. As far as symmetry, to me it visually balances the exhaust tip.

Looks cool but I wouldn't pay for it, it would just use up my valuable payload capacity.

Those bed steps are great but you need to keep spraying it with WD40 or other water repellants (in fact I'm not even sure if WD40 would help since it will attract dust.) It will get stiffed on you after a couple of months at which point you will have to raise it with your foot.

This is the first Tacoma (my 3rd) I have had with a bed step. I like it a lot more than I ever thought I would. I think it is worth the money.
