Bed Storage Boxes

    Has anybody had any experience with the bed mounted left/right storage boxes. Thinking about something like these to put my winch straps and etc in.

    Conflicted is the best way to put it.

    Yes, they're nice for straps, but they tend to take up usable cargo space.

    Even the bedside cubby storage-- I thought I would love it, but the main issue is that my SOP is to load objects completely, then tie them down. But most times objects restrict access to the cubby, meaning I'm either unloading to grab cargo control after loading, or I grab it beforehand and hope I grabbed enough.

    And if I grabbed too much, the extras end up in the interior because I no longer have access to the storage cubby.

    The option I haven't seen any aftermarket implement would be cutting into the exterior lower panels in front or behind the rear wheel, same as the Nissan frontier had in the 4x package...
