i'm "long-term borrowing" one of these from work. it's a Blue Hawk portable tool box we got from Lowe's. i like it because i can put small shit in the little handled thing and it can rest on the bigger pull out handle. i used it for dry storage and it held up in the rain pretty well. it's a bit tall though, so probably not tonneau friendly.

I'm really liking the looks of these, I'm surprised they fit between the fenders. My local HD has them for $79 right now, I think I'll pick 2 up. Thanks for the info.

This is awesome! I'd love to see more of how this is setup... I love the idea of having your poles incorporated into it!

I'm still rocking this setup. I do need to go through the tote and reorganize it. Its a mess.

I have added a really big chain and tow strap in their own bag. Other than that, not much has changed

Picked 2 of these up last night right after work and went home to condense the 4 I currently had back there to these two. HOLY COW these hold a lot, pretty sure I could've fit everything into one of these new ones! the thing I like best is they fit just under the factory tonneau cover! they fit between the wheel wells against the cab with about 6-8 inches to spare. They're super sturdy and roll easily. I slid my cleats down to just behind the midway point of the bed and just have a strap holding them in place so they don't slide around. couldn't be happier!

I like this look and could see making something that would lock them into the rail system. Can they be opened in this position or do you need to slide them out to open them?

I didn't try, but I think they would hit each other. They propbably would just tilt, and would still beable to open though.

On a side note, I think the Rotopax gas cans will fit between the bed rails and sides of the totes, and be at the same height as the totes. I'll try to get some measurments.

This is the best one I've seen so far. Hopefully he'll respond and tell us which kind it is and where he got it from.

I've been using action packers for years and love them. They are durable and can hold a ton of stuff. The 48 gallon fits pretty perfectly width wise in the bed. Can't go wrong with them in my mind.

This is the battle I am having right now.. Storage or just commit to a hard top shell? I have a lot of gear (SDI Cables, Extension Cords, etc...) that I want the option to have easy access to every week (they are technically overstock, but I want to know they are accessible in a pinch.

helpful thread for ideas, thus far.

Make sure you chain that up to your truck to prevent it from getting stolen :)
