Has anyone dealt with fixing storage cubbies that wont stay in place? Im referring to the cubbies over the wheel wells. The clips of the cubby on the passenger side of my bed are broken so every now and then on a bumpy road it falls out. Instead of buying a new cubby I was thinking epoxy? or maybe a better solution if anyone has one?
    Thanks in advance.

    Double sided tape may work

Tried it a while back. The thing is that the overlap on the edges is so small maybe around 1/4 inch that the 3m didn't have enough grip. That's whats kind of keeping me from doing the epoxy. Maybe some self tapping screws.

I used the gray double sided 3m tape, the 20lb one. It has worked just fine for me. I have taken the cubby off twice for mods and the tape has worked everytime I reapply it.

Unfortunately, I haven't needed to worry about it, because Toyota took them away from us on the newer trucks.

But when I was lucky enough to have them, they never came off.

Odd, mine have never moved. I ignore them for the most part.
Perhaps you could try using 2 - part marine epoxy, it's great stuff.

I used flexible construction adhesive when mine took to falling out. Think 'Liquid Nails.' If I should want them out, the adhesive is flexible enough that I can pry and get a spatula in to break the adhesive.

    Things I need to tow.
Rigid drying epoxy (like JB Weld) would likely not work well as it isn't flexible and will crack over time. I'd probably try the 3M Molding and Trim tape that's used to hold emblems on. It's stronger and more adhesive than regular double sided tape. (More expensive too.)

I have a '14 DCLB and wish the small cubbies had doors that locked or at least were secured to keep them from falling off. I'll probably try to address that someday.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try some heavy duty double sided tape today.
    Will post back.

I just took em out and put some GE silicone 2 on the part that comes in contact with the bed and put em back.... Then sealed around the outside contact points.
    Been good for 6 months.

Mine flew out when cornering a long time ago and I have no changed my driving habits, still havent come out since.

I used the white 3M double sided sticky foam tape. Been almost a year and they are still in there. If one ever does fall out again I think I will use black silicone to put it back in place.
