I like many, use the industrial storage bins under my soft cover.

I work closely with the local fire departments and law enforcement agencies, so its easy to toss in extra pants, boots, helmet etc in there and not have to worry about it. Its secured (as for rolling around) by a cheap bar that extends across the bed.

Anybody on here have the Bronc Box (https://shop.broncbox.com/)? Really would like to get one for all of my hunting gear that's all over the back seat of my truck and in the bed. Just not to enthused on the $995 price point.

What is it with these outrageously overpriced products that really don't serve a purpose other than "I'm cooler than you?" Even a pelican case is a third of that cost. And I dont really see how your gear will fare better in that than a $10 rubbermaid packed with egg foam. Unless there is some kind of sumo cage match that's happening within the confines of your truck bed. Sorry, but that shit is a ridiculous way to waste money.

Rust is a concern with tools and electronics so depending on where you live, cases with protection for that are a necessity.

    But fck that! $1000?

    Like, so many.
I bought a tough plastic bin and used a bunjee cord to hold it in place. Easy peasy.
    Not Instagram worthy though.

I know this is an old thread, but I’ve been looking for solutions for open bed storage that will stand the weather and be relatively secure. I pulled the skybox off our suv to mount on CBI bars. Works good but I wanted to make more use of the bed and move weight lower. Cooler won’t fit under bed bars on a decked type platform, so I built a box in the front 24” of the 60” bed.
