    So i going to be putting a new bed on my truck that i stole for 1500$ w/bumper it was a brand new pull off
    I was just wondering if there was anything i should know when i go to start this project
    Like stuff to replace fix whil its off

    No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
    idk what you should replace. but i’d just go over everything and maybe clean the frame and everything good. more of a why not then a need to do.

    and post some pic of the proses.

    While the bed is off, I'd clean and undercoat the frame while you can see everything. Get as much of the rust as you can and get it sealed up well. Service everything you can with the bed off, diff breather if you were ever inclined to do so, etc. If you have any pending electrical projects, now's your time to get anything mounted and run.

    x2. if you some where that gets snow and slat defiantly under coat it! maybe spray some Wd-40 or something like it on the spare tire cable to help keep it from locking up.

    This is my first post as I am a new member. If I knew that I was going to own the truck for a long time and I could afford it I would have the underside of the bed, inside the bumper, and everything else that could possibly rust treated with Line-X or Rhino lined. I would even do the back of the cab that you don't see.
