New owner with '11 DC Offroad with short bed. I tried to tie down some lumber in the bed for the first time and had alot of trouble getting the bed tie down rings to move up enough off the floor of the bed in order to get the tie down strap hooks into them. Is this normal? Do the rings loosen up after a while, or is something else going on. This happened with both rings
    Thanks

yes, they will loosen up and you will probably want to add some to the front bed bolts.
