I know you'll take care of it if needed. Everything on initial quick inspection looks good. Some rubbing on the powder coat but nothing I wouldn't do myself during install. I'm just not sure about parts and pieces since I did find one loose button head screw in the box after I pulled everything out. Don't know if came out of the parts bag or what but that's the "closer inspection" I'll do tonight/tomorrow.

When you get into it lay everything out and match it against the parts list on the instructions (if there is one). Double check that all hardware is in there. If there isn't a "parts" list I can link us up on a 3-way call with Bedslide to make sure you have everything, if not I'll have them ship out the missing parts ASAP

My gf, myself, and a few friends just built a bedrack for her 1st gen. Low-profile to carry an RTT under her soft topper. This may be on her parts list in the near future to get our camping supplies out from under the front of this beauty

 

Beat me to it...can you duplicate that (the bed rack)? I'm going to need both a rack and a bedslide after purchasing a softopper recently.

 

Hahaha I wish man. I can help you out with all the measurements and metal we used. We don't have the tools, our buddy let us use his shop but we don't have access to it to make more to sell.

We're meeting at Board & Brew (Scripps Ranch) this Thursday for the brewery meet if you'd like to check it out in person too.

 

Sure, I'll take the measurements and type of metal you guys (and girl) used. I'm looking more for a dual level type of storage (no RTT for now), so it may not be exactly the same but it'll be nice to have something to work off of.

Going to be out of town from Wednesday evening till Sunday. Thanks for the heads up though, I'll make it out one of these Thursdays (last time I had Thursday on my mind and it was held on a Wednesday...haha).

I plan on getting the rails too. I was getting ready to message him to see if they could be included in this deal. Just fyi yours was the reason I really started looking in to them. My wife saw yours at the meet and really liked it so here I am. Lol

 

Not trying to help you spend your money since Mike will already do that...but this DeeZee box is also a nice addition for carrying around everyday stuff with the bedslide. Relatively cheap too...
