Yes it locks in 3 spots. Fully in the bed for travel, somewhere in the middle(puts the handle around the end of the open tailgate) and 3/4 out(max).

I did that for about a week when I first saw this gb, and then I went back through my camping photos, and realized I would regret not getting it.

Not quite, @HIghlande2 is already marked down and part of the current 4. You'd make #5 meaning we'd need one more person after you to reach 15% off.

What is your thought/opnion/review of the Rails?
What is your thought/opnion/review of the Bed Bins?

Would you get them again? DO you find you cant live without them? or are they a convince? you fell you don't necessarily need?

I know you didn’t ask my opinion...but you’re going to get it anyway.

I don’t have the bins so I’ll spare you that one...but I can say that they wouldn’t have worked out for me. I did buy a little toolbox through Mike that has worked out great for my needs.

Rails...glad I got them. I couldn’t imagine having to climb into the bed of the truck to retrieve something that fell off the slide while it was open or being opened. Climbing back there with a fully extended slide, with a camper shell, to get that stupid shoe that just didn’t want to stay put. The rails have kept everything on the slide. I’d definitely get them if you don’t have an open bed.

    You got it!
Ps: It comes with 4 d-rings, and they're sold in packs of 4. So one extra pack will get you 8 d rings total.

    Done!

they are not for everyone, i use them a lot and they cover my battery in the bed from elements. they do take away storage in the back corner behind the wheel well if that is a place you store items and need access to it without pulling the slide from it. The rails do keep things from sliding around and falling under as mentioned. Overall the bins are great and are constructed well. For disclosure, i did not pay for mine so i cannot comment if i would get them again

The bed slide allows for the d rings to be positioned both on the sides and on the center rail?

And how easy is it to relocate the d rings? Can you just loosen and move them around on the fly?

If you get the S model then yes, d-ring adjustability on side and center on the fly. If you get the classic, there is no center channel. If you get the side rails, keep in mind that it uses the same channel so remember to put whatever d-rings wanted beforehand or else you’ll have to loosen the rail mounts to get the d-rings where you want them. Also, the rails have d-ring channels in them as well.

You can see here what I mean by the rails using the same channel as the d-rings. Also, you can see that the rails also have channels on the inside.
