Was searching around and did not find a thread or post about rivet install for bedslide. When installing the rivets how flushed are people installing them?

Pictures for reference. Should the rivet be completely crushed or flat? or not? My concern is that the fiberglass in the truckbed would crack when over tighting the rivet nut.

Flat. If not properly installed, they can crush under the tension of the bolt on the slide and that would cause the bolt to become loose.
