I am hoping so. Living in the suburbs with lots of neighbors honey bees are probably out of the question. The leaf cutters and Mason bees are entertaining to watch. I did not start with any larvae, it is just what mother nature brought. More this year than last. I just hope they can improve the pollination of my fruit trees as both grow.

No, as in I don't want to kill them, but they are in the way... where they built their nest. But after researching them, they will die off in the fall, so I'll do what I want to do, then. Thanks

Yea they don't stick around too long anyways. They can be VERY defensive around their hive and multiple of their bites will give you a flu-like sickness. If you really need to move them your best bet is at night with a red light of some kind and lot's of clothing, beekeeping hat with a veil can be found for cheap as well ($10-15). Safest route would be to leave them alone till the end of the year when they leave on their own

Thanks. Wanted to get rid of the straw bale, but it's not in the way, just ugly, so it can wait.

One of the benefits of keeping bees in the desert. Great sunsets.
