Yeah they’re very impressive machines. All the 130s I worked were “young” airframes as far as 130s were concerned…they got used so much they’re already retired and in the boneyard.

 

Not really a deployment, unless you count a month long field exercise at Pinon Canyon near Colorado Springs. Wish I had taken more pictures of all the stuff I did in the Army...

This was my third deployment (2005), I'm in the middle.

One in Somalia
Two in Iraq
One in Afghanistan

 

It’s a good bird! I was a crew chief on it for just about 20 years.

 

Yes, it was my Freedom Bird in 2007-08 after completing my 365.

I work for Boeing C17 ROR at Dover AFB as Supply...I retired from USAF as a Logistician my entire 25yr career.

Everything is automated nowadays...but I know how to go Post-Post when the system is down.

I work on Dover AFB, DE and use ILS-S...which use to be ES-S...which was SBSS when I first started in the USAF in 1986.

 

May 2021 last time stepping foot in Bagram before it closed.

So are you XOCL? I use ILS-S in an additional duty to order deployment A and C bags from LRS. That system is truly trash, I hear it’s not as bad for MX as it is for UDM’s though.

I use ILS-S for inquiries only; running MICAP Report, CTHs, NSN inquiries…I have no TRICs authorized to process.

We are Field-Level Supply Support taking care of various duties for the C17.
