I just got a 2019 Tacoma and it beeps continuously when trying to back up my boat. How can I disable this beeper, it drives me nuts, and I can't hear people trying to help me back in tight spots.

The struggle is real. First the auto headlights now the backpack sensor. Come on guys, there are like 20 buttons in there. Go sit in your new +-$40k truck and play around with shit for 10 minutes.

Thanks to the folks who were helpful, the ones who weren’t you know where you can go. If I’d had time to read the manual or study the buttons I would have. I literally picked the truck up, drove home. Son in law and grandson hooked the boat up while i ate lunch, and we headed to the cabin on vacation. Got there late afternoon and all the grand kids wanted a boat ride. Thats when i discovered the annoying beeper, while trying to back down a crowded ramp. So with 4 grand kids all wanting to boat and fish i havent had a chance to check anything out on the truck or i wouldve

Probably should have read the manual. Unless the truck had over 500 miles when you got home.
Just messing with you, I'm sure you didnt hurt anything, but it would be a good idea to take some time and read through the book. Download it and you can read it while on the toilet. This is especially a good idea when at work, on the clock.

I didn’t see anything posted that wasn’t helpful. Some gave you a direct answer. Some told you where to find it. And I told you an alternate method on how to learn about your truck.

    Give a man a fish.....teach a man to fish....
You know how it goes. So, now you know how to fish. You’re welcome.

Let us know when you figure out what the “frying bacon” button does.

Won't he be pleasantly surprised when he hits that button and bacon slides out of the CD slot.

    Button 4 was for bagels....

To the Op, don't take the crazies here to personally, it's all meant in fun.
Until you gave the full story,
it did not make sense that someone would get a brand new truck, and not press all the buttons....
New truck, new buttons and not pushed? HUH! is this guy human? Would be the thought process.
The read the manual comments well, I can't say anything like that as mine are still plastic wrapped in my glove box.
But some like to show off that they listened to their wife at least once, and read the directions. (even though that Ikea dresser is still missing pieces).

How about when you go on a road trip and the coffe dispenser is activated. Thats my favorite. Although I still have not found my cup of coffee.

Yea, but that dresser still works without that piece.
I downloaded the manual on my phone and I would read through it at work.
