YET ANOTHER EDIT: So I actually disconnected the fuel line from the pump and tried cranking and fuel went freakin everywhere. So to me, that means it's potentially NOT the pump...but that there's maybe some reason the injectors aren't firing...

ANOTHER EDIT: I disconnected the trailer wiring from the rest of the system, and the flashing lights are gone. Doesn't change the fact that I have some wonky trailer wiring going on, but at least people won't think I'm going into reverse every time I brake.

Mysteriously my fuel pump seems to have lost pressure. I don't know how this happens basically instantaneously but it seems to have. There is power to the pump, it turns on, you can hear fuel moving around, but when I spray starter fluid into the air intake, the poor guy is trying so hard to start but he can't... so I'm thinking that the spark is ok, and the O2 is ok, it's just that fuel isn't getting to the front of the truck... which means a new fuel pump...

EDIT: So it turns out that the truck is beeping as if it's in reverse when I put the left turn signal on. It also sounds a single "reverse" beep when I press the brake pedal. When I hold down the brakes, the reverse lights stay on solid, like the brake lights. When the left turn signal is on, the reverse lights on the left and right side blink with the left turn signal, AND the reverse beep is syncchronized with the flashing.
All the grounds I've checked are good.

    AND...Truck won't start.

    WHAT GIVES?!
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------
So, changed my oil right at the 5000 mile mark, and shortly after that the maintenance light was intermittently flashing for a seconds on start-up. Then a couple days later it came on and stayed on. THEN, a day or so later, I'd be driving along and there would be a beep... then 30-60 seconds later, it would beep again. Then if I were to put the turn signal on (right and left) it beeps faster and is constant. Sometimes it beeps slow when I press on the brakes. I'm going to clear the maintenance required icon on my lunch break today, but WTF is my truck beeping about?!

Did you have something in your passenger seat? Something heavy enough to trigger the passenger sensor in the seat?

No, I thought that at first, but there wasn't anything there and I was wearing my seat belt.

I believe there is a tsb for the seat belt buckle itself. It might not be registering that it was buckled. Kinda almost sounds like a bad ground somewhere as well from what you described. I know that it has nothing to do with the maint reqd light.

But wouldn't it be beeping all the time, not just intermittently and with my turn signals?

Maybe. It's all tied into the ignition so you could also have a key that it bad. Try using your spare key and see if it still beeps

Yeah I would say your transponder in the key is intermittently losing connection than.

So I reset the maintenance light, and actually now my driver isn't wearing a seat belt light works again (cool I guess?) And the maintenance icon went away. I'll see about the beeping on my drive home from work...

    So, update:

It beeps quickly when I use only the left turn signal now, and every time I touch the brake. I called Toyota Stealership and even they had no idea what it would be without me bringing the truck in. Sigh.

I have not, but it's not the blinker sound that's faster, it's an actual beeping. I will check tonight.

Lol, the key i alway use, i can pull it out while running too! Actually comes in handy, i like it! None of my 3 spares, which hardly ever get used do that. I guess the key wares down over time.

One thing i dont understand, do you have a reverse beeper installed or is it triggering the seat belt alarm? Did you buy it used? Maybe someone did a mod? Does the passenger side seatbelt light come on, on the dash when it does this? Hell, just kill the dang beep, i did. Lol, on the drivers side, i mod'd all kinda wiring etc to kill the beep. When i took all tge seats apart to install new OEM TRD Sport seat covers i realized, doh! Just unplug the dang sensor! Prob solved :)

Wait... come to think about it, i have seen this happen before on my sisters Rodeo! It was a botched install on one of those reverse beep things like big trucks have. Did some install backup sensors maybe? Pull the tail lights, see if someone spliced in either a reverse sensor or beeper.

No seat belt lights or beeping. Pulled the tail lights... no splicing.

Hmmm, try unplugging the connections under the seat. See if that makes a difference. If it does, helps to diag, if it does not, plug them back in and move on. Maybe try removing all of the bulbs from the tail lights. turn signals, reverse bulbs, all of them. If beeping stops, plug in one at a time to see which bulb causes the beeping to start. May help identify the circuit.

Also, if you have a trailer or a buddy with one, plug in the trailer lights. Does the trailer lights do the same thing? Possible issue with trailor lights plug wiring.
