Yes. Only other mod that may afect the sound is the DIY snorkel mod. Deleted factory air box and piped into the wiper cowl.

Heard that our four giant cats are as non restrictive as can be and not worth deletion. Now, if the go bad or get stolen I won't replace them.

It's not. Used the same parts from the other thread. I cut the rubber exact length with hides the aluminum coupling. Harder to assemble their way lol

    It never efffing ends.....

I see the benefit of getting the intake higher to keep out water. How does it do with dust? In my mind, even a snorkel has challenges with dust, what with its forward facing head. With this setup, it would seem a lot of dust would simply blow up, over, and past the windshield cowl.

After my Colorado trip I've been considering a snorkel. The dust out there was atrocious. If the benefit with this set up overcomes the dust, I would definitely lean this was. Plus it's a hellava lot cheaper.

Does pretty good. Cheaper, oh hell yes!! I did it specifically to relocate my intake from the fender when I went 35s.

Fresh TRD filter installed before 5th Annual LBL meet. Lots of mud and gravel roads.
