My previous ride was a Dodge 2500 5.7 Hemi/auto/quad cab/long bed/4wd. Good running truck (at first) Had an appetite for valve springs. Never dropped a valve, but broke inner spring on 3 different intake valves over the first couple years until Dodge did a recall and changed all of them. Got about 6mpg. Also had exhaust leak because of manifold bolts breaking.

Not exactly the legend that was the old 426 Stage III Hemi's of the late 60's.

I test drove a Hemi Challenger when I was shopping around for the car I had before my Tacoma. I heard somewhere that erections lasting longer than 4 hours were bad for you so I didn't end up buying that car. Ive never been in something that was so comfortable that got to 100 so quickly. I may as well just set up my direct deposit to go straight to the Hamilton Co Sheriff.

Drove a King Cobra Mustang a couple weeks ago. I grew up a Chevy fanatic, loved Mopar drag cars in the heyday of Super Stockers, and ridiculed dorF owners.

Wood/Would own the 'Stang if I had the chance.

I've always had a softspot for american muscle. I love the Challengers because they are visually the truest-to-form of the old styling, IMO, and dodge makes a hella comfortable car. But right now I have a GT350 on my radar for about a decade down the road when I can write a $60k check for a toy. That flat plane V8 sounds insane.

Back in the day I owned a '68 Z28, a '68 SS396 Camaro, 3 different SS 396 Nova's, a '66 L79 Chevy II Nova (350hp 327) (quickest 1/4-mile car of the muscle car era) and was 1/2 owner of a Boss 429 Mustang. (Most tire-ripping car ever) This was in the era when these cars were $1500 to $2500....The '68 Z, The L79 Deuce and the Boss Stang would be worth as much as my house if I still had 'em.

Of all of them, I'd rather have the L79 Nova back the most. Showroom stock, but with a set of 8" wide slicks on it, you could yank the front wheels off the ground about 6" from a standing start.

My license had frequent flyer miles being mailed back and forth between Police and me.....
