I'll fix it, probably a donor motor. Not sure when though. Hopefully before LBL meet in March

I'll put you first on the list if you want but I'm going to try not to sell them (or the fox). All BNIB from a GB soooo... probably exactly what I give for them :D but I'll deliver. Do you need sliders welded? Can't remember

Good, going to be fine. I'm imposing some rules on myself for a while: No TW.com at the house but txt msg is fine, no drinking/driving (duh, I mean at meets), priority now is fixing/ selling/ buying/ moving houses, ..... etc.

Still doing DYF for $$$ obviously @dirty deeds etc.

Send me some pics of what you want. It's not impossible just not very likely I'll be able to make you a one-off. Id say my situation is only bad for your chances of a DYF bumper though. Like 99% bad lol. I do plan on continuing with slider welding and CMC cutting/welding

It's down to bidding on this truck. 3 of us involved. First 2 were still below what I'd pay... I offered $3000. May go $400 or $500 more, but that's the limit. (for me) I think I can sell everything salvageable at a fair market value and recover that much, plus walk away with the engine and rear drive shaft. It's a stretch (@ $3500). Beyond that is a risk. I have my suspicions that one of the "bidders" is a shill. (Just jacking up the price for the seller, but no intention of buying)

Title is in dads name and son (who wrecked the truck) is hoping to walk with enough to make a down payment on another truck. I'm trying to keep this between me and dad.

Pretty much at that point now. It's only worth so much. I can't afford to lose money. Willing to break even and get the engine....Maybe even get it for a few hunnerd peso's.

Swingout? What bumper do you have? Also, Zach @Kerleyfries has his DYF Tiregate FS.

I'm in no rush for an engine at this moment, still trying to figure out a plan. 3500 seems like a lot, what do you think the engine is worth? Still haven't shopped/priced anything myself...

Out here with the pressure washer, nothing on the passenger side is pretty :burp:
Every panel is dented, mirror busted, headlight/tail lights full of water, etc.

Going rate for a good, running, complete engine (according to a friend who handles wreck salvage for State Farm Ins) is $2K. He quoted me a few major items off the truck I'm looking at. Armed with that info, I think I can sell frame/tranny/t-case/rear axle/front diff/front d-shaft/CV shafts/and a few other things and recover $3K to $3500. In a perfect world, get enough so you can spend $500 or less and get a decent engine. Numbers are getting dicey. If it doesn't pencil out, it won't happen.
