So a good friend of mine is writing some books and wrote this poem for my son Trip. He is always telling her about the truck lol. Posted by permission, soon to be featured in her book "Kat Tales" by Kat Copeland.

    Toyota Tacoma

I have the coolest truck, I work on with my dad,
We’ve added lots of kits, to make it look quite rad.
The color’s pyrite mica, it’s referred to as “fools gold”,
We added a brush guard, to make the front look bold.
We raised the body up, to help us reach our goals,
In taking it off roading, through deep and muddy holes.
We welded a swing bar, for full tire and gas can,
On the windshield there’s a light, with a 50 wide inch span.
In front we’ll mount a winch, for if we’re stuck in mud,
A snorkel we connected, incase there is a flood.
We placed a whip antenna, on our CB radio,
It helps us talk to others, to keep us in the know.
We bought the biggest tires, for our homemade bead lock wheels,
My Dad will shop online, to get the greatest deals.
We’re upgrading the truck engine, to a power filled V8,
We made a differential cover, in rear, out of steel plate.
We relocated shock mounts, for the long travel Fox Shox,
We added steel tube rock sliders, to hurtle over rocks.
We chose the 3 piece skid plates, to protect the front suspension,
Our choice in 4 inch lift, aids us in ascension.
We lined the underneath, with rock lights for the night,
Incase the truck gets stuck, they’ll assist us with their light.
I’m ready for the trails, as I help dad turn the wrench,
It’ll be the best adventure, I hope we’ll use the winch!
The truck will soon be done, and we’ll get to start the loading,
I love working with my dad, but the best part is off roading!

Let me know when you’re ready to drive up. I could tag along and use my aaa. The tow bill would be zero dollars under 200 miles.
