    Calling @Robertocritser @allmotorrex ....

In prep for 35s down the road (like 2yrs lol) I'll be accumulating all the necessary parts for gears, front locker?? (for the convenience of installing same time as gears) DIY beadlocks to replace my awesome looking Chinese ebay wheels that de-bead (for like, no reason), etc.
I'm starting on the wheels after this baby is born and plan running them w/ new 33x12.5x17 MTZ starting in March. Any helpful ideas to get me started? Pretty sure I'm going to buy steelies and rings and DYF will do the rest. Thoughts?

The bat signal! TO THA BAT CAVE!!!!!

Well what ideas do you want? You need some steel wheels, inner rings, outer rings, anti wrap rings, 128 3/8" x 2" grade 8 bolts, 128 nylon nuts, 128 washers (I only used a washer on the inside) and 4 valve stems.

    I bought these wheels.......

    This ring set .......

    This hardware set .......

    http://jesterfab.com/collections/beadlocks-weld-on/products/hardware

    These valve stems ........

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002803UHU/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You'll also need some 1/4" spacers to clear the front calipers.......

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00280D93A/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also went ahead and bought extended studs and lug nuts ......

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001O09TBQ/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004QHMXKI/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Make sure you have tire bead sealer as well. I put it on both sides of my tires just in case. The inner ring is fully welded and I also fully welded the anti wrap ring on. I have zero leaks anywhere. Don't forget to install the valve stems BEFORE you mount the tires cause you will be so fuckin mad if you forget. The torque process takes a while. Took me about an hour a wheel but it will be all worth it once you never blow a bead again. Haha You want to torque in somewhat of a star pattern. I took some pieces of tape and placed one every 5 bolts with 2 groups being 6 bolts, so you'll have 4 groups of 5 bolts and 2 groups of 6. I then snugged them all up first, then 10 ft. lbs, 15 ft. lbs, 20 ft. lbs, 20 ft. lbs, 20 ft. lbs and at that point felt like they were all tight. This process sucks. Torque wrench in one hand and 14mm open box wrench in the other. Enjoy. :D

Basically what Gideon said haha. Except for how I torque them... I use a 1/4" impact and get them started. Then I hammer down on it haha. Also get a spare hub because these fuckers are heavy... Around 50 pounds a piece before you add the tire.

I also added balancing beads and they work alright. Gideon took his to Walmart and they balanced his pretty well.

Thanks! I do carry a spare hub and plan on doing 5 wheels I think. Still undecided, but pretty sure I need wheels anyway so gonna try for beadlocks

 I've seen the balance job on his rims. Nothing like hammer-on weights 20% around the rim. It's more funny to hear gid tell the story.

How do the brakes feel? May be going that route as well, assuming they make a 1st gen kit.

Brakes feel great, stopping really good now. Tough to get a good comparison since they were barely stopping me when the were worn so thin. Did poly lower control arm bushings same time and still haven't got my alignment dialed in.

Had an old boy show up at the house on Saturday, wanting some help with his '07 Yota.. He said the guy at the tire store told him I could help.....When I first looked out the door, I though he had a 6" DB lift AND a 3" body lift. Turns out he had a Toytech front lift with a 3" spacer lift stacked on top of that, and stock upper control arms. It must have had 20 degrees of camber and probably 10 degrees NEGATIVE caster. His biggest complaint was, it had about 2" of front travel.... My suggestion to him on how to correct the problem....A. Get it out of my driveway before someone sees it and thinks I had anything to do with it, then B. Burn it and call insurance. I'm sure your alignment couldn't be as bad as this one was. I thought he was gonna run over my mailbox before he got out of my driveway. It went every direction except the one he pointed it. On a positive note, it did clear 35"'s with no cutting.
