    So, radio seems to be working fine but we had some very strange reading on the SWR. Was showing 0-.25 on 1 and 40 and in between. Not really sure what that means. When we installed his 3-footer we got 1-2ish on the meter. Disconnected the ground and it works about the same. With 102" and no ground I was able to talk to Bill around two or 3 miles away.
