Doesn't sound like you guys drank enough beer. That's most likely the problem

Yeah. We had zero beer/SWR. Should have had 1.25-1.5 beer/SWR

Are you saying zero is perfect? Closest info I can find was sayin lower is better, 1.xx is acceptable. We were scratching our heads trying to figure out how come the needle wouldn't move off zero. Wouldn't move off zero until we removed the ground :notsure:

Right now I have the frame ground disconnected and get .25 avg. If I connect the ground it's zero. Was planning on re-connectin the ground anyway. And that's a perfect tune I guess. Thanks, Bill!!!, for the DYF, thanks for the info Matt!!!:cheers::cheers::cheers:

We had a trucker about 3.5 to 4 miles away that was hearing us from the truck stop parking lot. As I was driving away from DYF home base, I could hear OK and be heard a little better. DYF is located in between two BIG hills and I was maybe 3 miles away before he started fading out. I'm gonna say it's good. Good enough anyway. Since the hop up on my radio, I was talking to a trucker that was over 17 miles away. Loud and clear!

Well it was my cable, think I may have damaged it when I first installed it ar it got yanked on or something. I doubt you will have any trouble. Just follow the instructions with the FireRing, has pictures lol

    I like pitchers!

The quick connect came today. The whole kit should be here next week. Can't decide how to route the cable though, not sure I'm ready to drill through the bed yet

Want my DYF 2.0 mount? Didn't need it. You'll need to ground it and it works better on the rail against the cab.

It's whatever. I may make another cable for it and include the SS hardware and T-slot nuts for 20i$h shipped of anyone wants it.

I'm looking to do something more permanent with my setup. I really like the lil will but dont want to always have the cable running through the door
