A, is the only option. B, looks like you smeared baby shit all over the rings. It's a pretty terrible color to begin with. Putting it on the inside at least hides it some and gives the wheel some depth

 

at least shop red rings to match your coils.

Pyrite, black, or pussy wagon pink?

 

Plus black rings will be easier/cheaper to touch up.

Funny thing is you guys will never see them clean

As long as you know it's a spring, and all that paint will flake off, so you'll have red/black coils.

So how close is the bronze to Pyrite? I may do a base of bronze then the last coat in the color matched "4T3" code. I have an expensive small (12oz?) can of it. Really only enough if I do the rings.

 

anything less that direct midday sun, the bronze is noticeably darker.

Depending on solvent base, your oem color paint might pit or bubble. Like i said before, i haven't even found a clear that goes on well over that universal stuff. Got a new one to try though soon.

just tried another clear, one Rostoleum suggested. It looks wrinkled like others.
