    First threader here!

Got my truck October of 2024 (completely stock 2020 SR TSS OR). Someone hit my truck without a note and left the scene (gotta love Houston). Just minor damage, scratched/dented rear bumper panel and reverse light knocked out on the passenger tail light.

Long story short, took the insurance money and did the repairs myself and this is what I ended up with!
    • OEM headlights in black housing with DRL’s (also shoutout @Puppypunter for the harness and LOTS of help!)
    • Tail lights
    • Rear bumper (yes body armor don’t be a hater I was on a budget)
    • Fog lights (and fog DRL’s)
    • Ceramic tint
Hit and run was a pain, but happy with the outcome!

Welcome to the fam! As long as you aren't using that bumper for recoveries, you will be just fine. Make sure you keep an eye out for any powder coat peeling/chipping. Treat it promptly and it will continue to look good. Also, those tail lights have been known to cause electrical issues (brake override, loss of blinkers, CEL). So make sure you keep your OEM lights in order to troubleshoot any electrical issues if they arise in the future. Sucks about the hit n run but looks like you came out ahead in the end.

    Welcome to the forum :hattip:

Good job taking a crappy situation and making something good out of it.

Looks good. You could fine tune it with some varying degrees of sandpaper then touch up with spray touch up paint ?
